Championship Ministries was founded in 2008 as an outreach ministry to take Gods word into the off-road motorcycle racing community. Championship Ministries provides church service at local and regional motocross and off-road races. Our calling is to take the Word of God to as many people as possible. The racing community is a family that has chosen a lifestyle that find their events scheduled on the weekends and almost always on Sunday. By taking the word to this community, it gives us a chance to give church going racers the ability to attend church as well as race. It also allows us to reach out to a large group of people that do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Championship Ministries will reach this community by providing church service along with bible studies, camps, fellowship opportunities, and providing helpful services during the event.
Championship Ministries was founded by Steve and Gretchen Dennis. Steve started riding motorcycles in 1976 when he was three years old. Since then motorcycles have been a huge part of his life. Steve has been a successful racer at the local, regional, and national levels. He has recently won championships with the Texas Off Road Championship Series in 2007 and 2008. Steve has worked in the motorcycle industry since 1998 and has worked with several of the top names in the industry including, national and world champions. He has been training riders of all skill levels on how to improve in the sport since 2000. This long and successful career has earned him a high level of respect within the motorcycle community.
In 2005 Steve gave his life to the Lord. Since then he has been on fire for God. He was baptized later that year and started getting involved with church functions. Steve met Gretchen through a church function in 2005 and they were married in 2007. They both have served as small group leaders and hosted bible studies in their home. They have served as the Youth Pastors at their church since 2008. Together they started Championship Ministries in 2008. Steve has been involved in Christian T.V. broadcast that have been seen all over the world. He has been involved in youth videos, ministered at schools, and taken part in youth camps. He has given sermons during church services, biker rallies, and other events. Steve has a very unique testimony involving motorcycles and church and has shared it with thousands. In December of 2009 he was ordained as an Ordained Minister. As of January 2010 Steve has committed himself to fulltime ministry work

Jesus: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins by dying on a cross. After three days He arose from the dead as a declaration of His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven but will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He indwells in every Christian from the moment of salvation to provide guidance, understanding and power. The Holy Spirit provides many gifts that provide spiritual power and boldness.
